One last trip out to sea......

As summer ends, the Fluke we have been fishing for know it's time to leave the bay......
John invited me out on his boat in one last ditch effort to get one. Here's the scene in Jamestown, RI. where his boat is....

The fluke seem to know exactly when August ends, so we had to move to another spot & go for whatever we could....
John got a good sized "scup" here as a dark clowd rolled in.......

Boy he tasted good on my grill
The dark clowd actually brought out the fish it seemed.....
Next I got into the act & got a keeper "Black Sea Bass" which taste even better! (the pic is not too good cause he's sideways). Yea he got grilled too :hot:

John got a fish that really gave up a good battle & he figured it was a sand shark as they really shake their head back & forth.
Looks like his guess was right on the money.....

John's son was very interested to check out a real shark...
His black lab was very very curious too & had to be held back :geek:

If anyone asked us how many fish we caught, they would never believe us......we lost count we gut so many undersized ones. At least 40 fish! :surprised:
But sadly only 3 made the size limit.....:sadwalk:
& only these 3 made my grill :hot: (scup on left & 2 sea bass on right).

It was alot of fun to be catching fish rather than just sitting.....
anyday out on the water is good.....much like treasure hunting.
Thanks for looking,
Bill

Sure beats what I did yesterday! There you are cruising around on the bay and the rest of us are chained to a desk  Looks like you guys had a good time!
