hunted a REAL TRASHY place today, maybe the worst I've ever seen so far? Managed this stuff and somehow lucked out on this Indian amongst all the crap. Couldn't hardly get any depth anywhere and doubt I'll return.......... Funny how one decent coin can turn things around tho.....lol
 
That Indian looks to be in good shape too.

You did better than me yesterday.
Finally had some free time so i brushed the cobwebs off my gear, first time out in a couple months so decided to hunt a local pounded park.
Dug what i was sure gonna be an Indian at 9", turned out to be an old worn green 20's wheat instead. That, a couple crusty zincolns and a brass button is all i went home with.
 
Yes, one coin can save the day for sure !

The way look at it - any day I get any type of 1800's dated coin or any type of silver coin - I call it a good day.
So ... I'd say you had a good day !
