One find ...no digging necessary!

I have been quite busy lately, but late Sunday afternoon with the sun dipping low in the sky, I managed to get in about an hour before it got too dark. I found an old CW era buckle, and a semi-key date Indian Head, with a repunched date, 1869 over 186. If you look closely you can see the doubled "1". The coin was sitting right on the surface of a trashy, heavily hunted area. I wonder how many people detecting the site before me ignored this 51 VDI signal at 0 inches!

*After I posted this, I noticed that the coin was also struck off center a bit.

Great recovery Neil. Just goes to show Never ignore a 45 or above even at zero.

Bradley, there is very little that I ignore. I nearly dig it all If it sounds clean and it is above a -20. Here are a few reasons why:
