Hi all:
Just a quick note. Had an hour or so to MD so thought I'd try the local playground on an off night (Thursday)just for fun.
Not much happening, a penny here a penny there. I was about to go home and just running my F-75 over the ground on the way to the car when I got all kinds of signals. I thought my machine had gone crazy until I dug down and found the reason - coins on top of coins. All clad, but it was fun. They just kept on coming.
With a smile on my face I continued to the car and my F-75 went crazy again and what do you know, another coin cache. And then another and then another and another!
I guess some kids hid the coins and then forgot about them. In the end I had about $5.00 in clad and a smile that put permanent smile lines in my face.
The thing I really enjoy about this hobby is the hunt. It's fun when you find something valuable, but the hunt is just as fun for me especially when I get into a hot area with plenty of targets.
I LOVE organized hunts for that reason. Plenty of targets and you never know what will come out of it.
This quick hour hunt was a blast. I've learned that even quick hour hunts can be productive and want to encourage everyone to get out whenever you have a short amount of time if you don't already. I once only went out when I had a few hours or more to kill, but this F-75 is so much fun, I find even the short hunts to be productive.
Still looking to find the goodies so many of you are finding, but until then I'll keep enjoying the seeking.
