One bottle cap I'm glad I scooped up

Rough waters and little clarity made me rely on sound alone today with the CTX. Corona and Bud Light caps have fooled me many times in the first year but I've got a good handle on how to tell now......when I can see my screen! I got a mid-tone with just a bit of an iron grunt to it (typical for Corona and Bud Light caps for my settings) , after fighting the waves I finally had it in the scoop and that is when I was shocked.....never expected a gold ring..... using a lope, you can see a hairline crack at the back of the ring, that may have been the reason for the iron grunt (which was repeatable).
Air tested at 12-22, running sensitivity in Auto +3, open screen, seawater enabled, Ferrous coin, combined (5 tones ), deep on.
14k 11.68 grams

Really wish I could have had calm, clear water to see the screen on this one. Sure am glad I scooped this bottle cap.

Looks like brass to me. JK, you know I saw it in person. You said it was brass with a sly grin. We knew better.
