once more for the beginners

Before I invest maga bucks in a MD.I want to see if I like going into the salt h2o about knee deep. I'm a beginner in all areas but the water is calling me. Ive done the search, read till my eyes are rebelling and still cant come up with the answer.I THINK it boils down to these machines , Beach Hunter ID,Surf PI Pro, Sea Hunter Mark2.(want an Excalibur but thats in the future)I'm thinking of a second hand to start off with, good idea? I need to know not only why you pick a certain MD but why, depth, sensitivity, able to go in and out of the wash with out chatter? Last question Is the beach hunter a Surf PI Pro with disc. built in? Thanks please remember I'm new to this hobby.
