Once in a lifetime find

Got to hunt a new spot this past Monday that really paid off. Found the usual stuff like clad, some iron pieces, and the dreaded beaver tail.
But I went into my happy dance when this came into the daylight.

When I calm down enough to drive, I took it home to do some research. turns out to be a James the 1st halfgroat.
These were struck between 1603 to 1625.

I've already sent pics to an coinage expert at the Oxford museum in England to help narrow down the year by the mint mark.

HH TO ALL.

Seriously! :surprised::drool: Congratulations! :beers: Let us know what you find out from the museum please!
