So all you people in the fair weather States..were counting on you to keep the posts going for finds.

When snow is here in Inches and feet in other places your our detecting life line..

Once fly fishing season closes on my favorite section of the S. Fork of the Boise River Nov 30th, I will do more detecting. I may actually quit fly fishing before that, just depends if the fish keep on bitin or not. Usually it can be a bit too cold the end of December and most of January for me to go detectin, but after that, it's my favorite time of the year to go. I hope I can find something worthy to post.

You all get packed and bring yourselves down. I'll share some of my hunted out sites with you. :detecting: But seriously, come on. HHjim tn

Brother...I'm huntin' til my digger won't pierce the frozen ground:)

Actually I don't mind chiseling down to the 3" level before I encounter "movable" dirt. Once it freezes beyond that though...I call it a season:biggrin:

Just have to be very careful of the sites I hunt at because leaving the ground looking undisturbed is very important to me....and it can be a challenge when you're dealing with little frozen dirt pieces.
