Once again a factory reboot fixes the problem at hand?

This is just becoming crazy! The first issue was the WM-10 would not work with any headphones . A Minelab rep told me to reboot to factory setting and try it. It worked. Then I could never get the headphones to work with the unit directly even with a mono plug. I did not wish to reboot because of a saved hunt program. I finally downloaded it through exchange 2. Today I factory rebooted again and now I can use the headphones with a mono adapter. I guess I have to do the software update again since I am back to originally ship software. I will call Minelab Monday and see what's up. I can't have to keep rebooting the detector each time its having a bad day! I did not check to see if the WM-10 still works! I'll do that after I hunt today.

I really don't see anyone posting the same problems, outside of the headphone speaker shut off thing. It really sounds like you got an issue with your machine. I'd call Minelab up and see if they can swap it out for you.

I have been in contact with Minelab.Way before anyone said they had a problem with the batteries and shut downs and freezing up.I was the first to post any of these problems. The other guy who's machine was frozen out of the box they took his back to work the problem. A week later they had the software fix. They told me its just a glitch! I have run into others that have some issues I don't have. Thanks, I am going to talk again with them on Monday.
