On the way to another beach- Wife spotted a yard sale

Needed to try someplace different, had my wife ride me up a couple of miles. Along the way (Groan) she spotted a yard sale. So over we pulled. I sat there for a while waiting. After 10 looong minutes, got out wet suit and all. This was a small store closing.
Well going down a table spotted couple of boxes of junk rings. Checking them out, what's this. I had found a ring like this once. So sure enough, 925. Than another and another. Now these rings were marked fifty cents. With out asking, they sold me some for 25 cents. Added a Skull & Bones stainless. It gets better the little toe ring- 10 K white gold. .03 grams worth 49 cents melt value.
Total value melt. 25 bucks. Paid. $4

So seeing I'm in a wet suit, had my pulse induction & scoop, does this count ? I know the answer, but that was one hunt !

Nice score.
With a business sense like that no wonder they are going out of business.
You might even be able to x2 selling them on eBay

My feeling was, the kids (mid thirties) were handling the sale. Didn't want to be there, didn't care.
We all have seen big finds scored on tv. There's still a little fun to be had out there.

My wife is good at spotting silver and gold in the junk boxes at yard sales and thrift shops ... although the thrift shops seem to be getting better at separating their better jewelry from the junk than they were a few years back. She has made some very profitable purchases for pennies.

I have never found anything of value at a yard sale or at a flea market. Maybe some day. I have made a couple of good finds at Goodwill Stores. My best find was a Mont Blanc pall point pen. I paid a couple dollars for it and sold it week later for 100.

Id call that PIRATING lol. Good score on the goodies.
