On the way South 2 tips

We overnighted in Mt. Sturling Ky. Monday night. Woke up there was a inch of snow that fell during the night. Tip #1 This was a 2 story motel, with a rare strip of grass between the parking spot and the door. So before we left I told my wife I got to find at least 1 coin. Wasn't long- up popped a 93 stained Quarter. So if your travling & you see some grass around a motel you can pretty much bet it doesn't get hunted much! Tip #2
Be sure to check that the seat in the bathroom is anchored correctly. I was in a little bit of in a hurry, the seat just slid off, & I ended up halfway into the bathtub. Lucky I didn't break my ribs !!
Want to thank everyone for wishing us a safe ride.
PS We had snow till just south of Nashville. The Quarter got resqued by the Ace 250 !!

Tip 1 is a good tip!.. Tip 2 is a REALLY good tip!!
Safe travels!!

I can't help myself looking for change in the couches and chairs. I usually find some! Be careful and don't get pocked....

Spring is still a way off. Supposed to snow here in Atlanta tonight - again...

Did unbox the much anticipated AT Pro yesterday late afternoon and squeeze out a quick hunt in the dusk. Found a couple pennies and a nickle from sound only since we could see the screen. The kids were very excited!

I was in a flaky motel where the only heater in the bathroom was an outdoor light bulb, the furniture in the room was all bolted to the floor and the walls, the tiny 13-inch TV was secured with a log chain that was bigger than the TV. The bed clothes were ragged with holes. The paneling on one side of the room was ripped loose and the fiberglas insulation was hanging out. The metal clothes hangers on the clothes rack were welded together so they couldn't be removed. My wife and me had a hard time sleeping from laughing so much. My first clue should have been the motel clerk who only had one arm and looked like she was related to Ma and Pa Kettle back on the farm..

Also have to watch for the extra passengers and guest----BED BUGS ---:surprised:
