As some of you may know, I had total knee joint replacement on my right knee on Feb. 27th. That is why I haven't been posting fresh pics of late. But, with this crazy warm winter ( 70's and 80's) I feel well enough to go about my yard and take a few pics. The surgeon that did my knee was surprised at how much flexability I have regained in my right knee joint, 110% OF 130%. I told him it was well worth the pain of re-hab to get there and I am striving for 130% before he does my left knee on June 11th. After that, the sky's the limit with me ( with a little help from Tordol and Vicodin.lol) I checked myself into a nursing facility for 1 and one half weeks, for some intense therapy. 7 days a week 2, 2 hour sessions a day. Lots of pain and laughter. And all the residents and staff there loved all my photo books that I had assembled, and a few have ordered some reprints, I explained to them I WILL deliver as soon as it is safe for me to travel up and down the basement steps. I can do it now, it's just that the wife doesn't know it yet....lol. After all, after 20 years of pain in my knees, I have been going up and down those stairs one at a time anyway. I have handrails on either side. My surgeon practices the new wave of closing inscisions, he uses SUPER GLUE! I am already seeing the benefits of this technique, a hairline scar that is barely visible. If I can get my wife to go downstairs and get the right upload cable for my camera, I will post a pic of my boo-boo, it is NOT gory! A little puffy in spots but it will all flatten out soon.........NGE P.S. The reason I am still up at this hour is because Vicodin gives me insomnia.
