Got out this afternoon for a short hunt with the 505 --- got my first silver for the year, a 1951-D Washington Quarter; couple of wheaties, both 1919-D's; and one of my favorite things to find, a DeLaval Cream Separator watch FOB.

Thanks for looking and HH --- Hawkeye Jim.

Nice finds . The watch fob is a real good find. I hav only found one watch fob.

Thanks, I almost gave up on it because it was so deep and I figured maybe it was just a peice of iron!!!

Great finds! The watch fob is cool. Do you know about how old it is?

Very nice watch fob. These are getting harder and harder to find, especially in as nice shape as yours. Most have the bar, where the strap ran through, broken but yours is perfect.

No idea on the FOB's age --- did some research on the net and there is a collector's book for DeLaval, will have to try and locate one to determine the age and value. Hawkeye Jim.

sweet! gotta love them silver quarters no matter how old they are!!!

Great finds...the fob is very cool!

Hawkeye, I did find one that sold on e-bay. It is exactly like yours but had the actual leather strap still intact. The fob brought $59.00 and the seller stated it was made in the 20's/30's. Whether that is correct is debatable but the book would clarify that.
