Not much for an after the fireworks morning hunt.....Has a lot to do with the weather we have been getting. The beaches here are getting hit daily with rain bands moving up from the tropics,it stopped just in time for the fireworks last night, but was a constant threat from late afternoon till the show.Even the beaches were less trashed than usual.
Still managed to find...2 phones, one detected one eye find...both saved from the beach rake.$10.83 cash/clad,unopened can of beer, sunglasses, couple lighters, firecrackers, junk jewelry:3 earrings,(the cross was exciting till I saw it was an earring).and other eye finds.
One of the phones was just picked up with a promise of sending me a box of Hawaiian Tropic sun block....her husband works for them, and I can sure use it when water hunting and fishing!! HH GL ALL

Nice job! The closest I've found to a cell phone was someone's battery. I'm still kind of stumped about that one.

They must not rake you beaches every morning like some areas being that you come up with so much clad an jewelry?

Thanks mapper...The beaches are raked Friday to Monday on most of the beaches here and as needed during the week.I try to get there b4 the city crew starts their destruction! A lot of my finds come from further up on the beach around the cabanas, lounge chairs, beach bar areas, and pathways that the tractor does not go,these areas are cleaned up by resort personal and attendants.
I believe the chain and pendent I found early in the week would have been a victim of the rake as would the phones....but I have found coin and rings in the fresh raked beach sand on many occasions...bob.oz

Talked with the owner of the other phone...He had to come from Tampa to get it so I left it in my mailbox for him.....got home and found a thank-you note and $20 bucks....nice!

Heck, I think I need to move close to a beach, your making more money and suntan lotion then I am looking for old coins, lol

Congrat's on the nice money making finds.....

Congratulations on the finds And return of the phones.
