On our first show debuting on july 4th here on the internet and on cable tv later in july, Charles Garrett's son Vaughan Tells how the company started in a small garage, and became a global leader in metal detectors. Vaughan also speaks about a new Garrett detector coming out this Fall and maybe sooner. Vaughan also fields questions from this forum, and those asking for new coils may be happy.
We also follow Robert Jordon, President of a north texas metal detecting club, on a hunt in Garland Texas , Home of Garrett Metal detectors. Robert uses a Garrett 1350 detector for the hunt in an old historic park. The first show is a one hour special and can be seen on the internet at http://www.lostandhiddentreasures.com
on july 4th and after. We will have two selections, one for broadband and one for 56k dialup. Those unable to view it on their computers we will accomadate you with mailing a dvd. Following July 4th we will have a show every week featuring hunts all over the USA and footage of Charles Garrett on some of his famous hunts. The show also features items Charles Garrett has found metal detecting all the continets except anartica. Knowing Charles he is up there now lol. Hope you tune us in.

We probably won't be able to get it piped on our cable up here. I am really looking forward to seeing it!

And when old man winter arrives, you can come up here and do a winter hunt special

Thanks Larry.
I thought that it went online on the 24th of this month, so now I know why I couldn't pick it up. looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks, can't wait this is going to be a great show. P.S. to John, DONT SAY THE (W) WORD.

John I'd love to come up there! anything to beat this texas heat. It's so hot here we slice the roast beef off the cows grazing in the fields:hot:

I have slow dail up, like US postal service, probably won't be able to view it, but I'll try, by the way, how about sending some of those steaks north, they sound good!

there will be a version for dialup however it won't be near the quality of broadband. I also will send you a dvd if you can't see it any other way. Nothing like texas bbq steak.

Hey summer hit here with a vengeance today. It was 106 degrees on my front porch this afternoon. I didn't leave the house.

The show as of right now will be on charter cable in north texas. We are working to get it on pbs which just about everyone could watch. Our cameraman does several shows for public broadcasting company. This first show july 4th is just a pilot we will shop around. However we will always have it on the internet for sure in high quality HD converted to flash.

PBS would be the best of all possible solutions.
I'm looking forward to seeing Garret in action, and the answers to our questions.

RR

The show will be put up every weekend after the one hour show the 4th. They will remain archived for people to see for years to come. The link will always be the same. http://www.lostandhiddentreasures.com
