The weather was great at Wilmington beach today .We (fiancee and I ) arrived at the beach at 4 o'clock pm and there was people everywhere. For part one of the hunt i decided to start off with the sand shark. I just received the detector this past week so I was dying to get out to try it . I normally use the GT on the beach but i always wanted to own a PI machine .The hunt was only two hours, half in the water the other on the wet. One quarter, Bobby pins, one fake hoop earring and many small pieces of deep wire was all i found. The sand shark did a great job over all . Just two issues i had to deal with was the 10.5'' coil would need readjusting in the strong surf and the head phones wanted to slide off my head more than once. Both of these items are small and easy fix once back at the bat cave. I'll be on the beach tomorrow morning with the GT. I'll be hitting the wet and the dry. I had a great time today but i hope tomorrow surrenders the gold. HH and standby for part 2 (The SS is indeed deep)
I had a great time this morning at the beach with the Gt. Didn't find any gold but i may have found some silver . I can't wait to get home to test the Saint Mary and chain . I also found a one dollar coin,two dimes and a couple of pennies along with some trash. Over all I had a great time I'm looking forward to my next trip to the beach. HH to all. It sure does Qicpic. You need a large scoop on both the GT and SS . One side effect of being on the beach for two days was getting a good work out walking and digging holes (and feeling them in). You get a great work outs wading in the surf and walking up and down a beach. Anything past 3 hrs. Your going to feel it later. It's not quite like a 3 hr. park hunt. It was still a lot of fun needless to say we had a great time on Wrightsville Beach.
