Sterling silver and though it actually fit me I didn't care for the design but the wife loves it and, of course, is proudly wearing it. :):

Have removed the batteries from the 1280x and loosened the pressure on the gasket. don't figure I will be out with it any more this year. Research time is coming up (i.e. winter).

I've pulled my CZ-20 for the season. There's a couple spots I would still like to try, but, those will probably wait until breakup in the spring, then I'll put on waders and go at it.

If you have the hipmount clip for your 1280, you could try hipmounting it and doing some land searches. I'm using my CZ-5 on land right now. I got lucky and found four silver coins and a silver pendant in the last week.

Got a couple of Garretts for land use (GTA 1000 Ultra and a GTAx 1250). Both have been great on rings and nickels in playgrounds. The 1000 found 3 rings - one was a .55 carat teardrop diamond wedding ring (sold it for $250 - detector paid for itself with this one find), a "V" shaped dinner ring with 25 cubic zirconia diamonds and a similuated sapphire ring - all in the same play ground.

Fisher will get a good rest for now and in spring will keep it working and see how long it takes to pay itself off. (Hopefully by then our move up north will have been done and out of the way).
