I am just curious about your settings at the beach. Wet sand and dry sand. Sens. is the most important one but also do you hunt in Iron Mask or a particular screen setting?

I only have about 40 hours on the Exp II, most of that has been at the beach, so take this for what it's worth <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> I don't know how your beach is but mine is relatively trash free in the surf / wet packed sand. I don't mind hearing the occasional iron hits. Even with my CZ-20, I never disc out iron. I almost always run in auto tune and then flip to "0" disc to ID the target.
With the Exp II, the only time I'll flip to iron mask is if I'm getting an iffy signal... sometimes going to iron mask cuts through and helps pick out the good target that might be near iron. In addtion, all metal gives you the greater depth. IMHO

The "0" disc I was talking about was on my CZ-20, not the Exp II. On the Exp it's a clear screen in smart find or -16 iron mask.
