Hello all,
I have a question about the CZ20 in autotune. In that mode, is it more or less stable in the wet salt sand than in discriminate mode ? The reason I am asking is I am thinking of purchasing one, as opposed to a PI unit and I am curious as to how much depth and sensitivity I would be giving up vs a PI unit in autotune.
Some of the salt beaches I hunt are really littered with nails/bits of iron and sometimes there are very few targets. In the event I run into tons of nails/bits of iron, I would run in discrim mode, but when it's pretty qutie, I would run in autotune. I also like the idea of being able to run in autotune and then switch to discrim.
I am a Fisher guy from way back and I like the warranty, sturdiness of their units, the ability to hip mount it and I want a multi freq detector for the beach, hence the CZ20.
Any help would be appreciated since I am ready to pull the trigger on a water unit.
Thanks,
JC
