OMG! Two Large Honker Gold Rings Found Today With The Garrett AT Gold.:hot::hot:

Hit a spot today, hoping to get some fresh air and a few keepers. I had just finished 7 days in a row on my orthopedic unit and was really looking forward to today's hunt. And go figure, I had no intentions of really finding anything of value, yet had my best gold in grams hunt this year, plus some loot and a musket ball.

The musket ball was a complete surprise today. I have never found any out in this area. The long new Garrett digger came in handy today getting some of the targets out of the ground. The last ring on the right was actually buried under a 6 inch diameter rock.

Here are the two large rings I dug up. The gold worth of both rings combined at today's spot price came out to be $583.13. Not too bad for an afternoon of getting exercise and having fun!

WOW...

That's just about all I can say! WOW!
Finding just one of those would make me grin for a couple weeks straight.
Congrats!

Those are nice. Congrats.:clapping::thumbup:
I see the ground is not frozen yet out your way.

XLNT! was this a shoreline? or inland? imagine paying for your AT Gold in a couple hours of having fun.

I see it pays to remain dedicated and slightly hooked on the hobby.
I'm not sure if it was you John but, someone on the forum said it's
when you expect something your not rewarded but, when it's
unexpected that you cash in. Congratulations

It's all about the hunt, not necessary what you find. If you set yourself up for too many high expectations, you are setting yourself up for a lot of failures and soon loose interest in this hobby.

Those are 2 really nice rings John ! Got some good weight to them. WTG !!
Bet that made your day. Good hunting to you ! Gene

:detecting::tongue::beers: John your amazing I can't believe you get those girls to submit the way you do
and go on the hunts with you. They sure come in handy thawing out the area your detecting
and keeping you warm too.

I have a AT Gold but have not had the pleasure to use it yet, Don't know if I ever will. Looks like its a good machine though!!

People lose them taking their gloves off. The swim season must be maybe , what a month long. I hear of a fisherman loosing a ring around a boat dock once in a while, maybe by rincing off his hands in a lake. But man the Cunucks sure loose allot of rings up your way. Down here some rings slip through but most of em are found by the guys local to the lost.
