Omega sweep speed

Here in Michigan its just getting so I can dig. Got my new Omega and was wondering what sweep speed this unit seems to like?
 
Any speed that is above a snails pace. I swing fairly fast and it still locks on to coins without a problem. I then slow down to X the target and then pinpoint.
