I was playing/learning my Omega out in the yard. Got this strange signal. So I pinpoint ( Says down 6 inches) and start digging. Dig hole about 5-6 deep and stick pin pointer in hole, it says treasure still below. I dig a couple more inches out with no beep's in dirt removed. Pointer in hole strong signal at bottom, getting real close. Dig another couple inches, stick pointer to bottom and it starts getting weaker. Mid air about 5 inches down pin pointer is telling me I am touching it so to speak. Hole is about 6" in diameter and 10" deep now, so I sweep hole down about 5-6" and get solid dig here signals all the way around. I begin to gradually enlarge the hole, being careful to pile hair I am loosing during all this for later re-claiming. I dug smack dab in the middle of that hoop off of what I think was a small wooden barrel. Now if it would have still had some liquid in it when I got to it I would have drank my share.
