Well waves decided to settle down, in I went good start and all. Zinc penny, 2 tent pegs, than what's this! 14K. Diamond ring. Everything intact. Big kicker, no I'd.
Just a matter of being in the wrong place at the right time. Gulf waters, Florida

James, If you can Imagine, hi/lo. Not as drawn out as a tab, more near a zincer. But a little better. I wasn't sure, but I knew it was iffy enough it had to be dug. Mr Dual Field, (my pal) Dug two out of same area this winter along with mine today.
Mine today, waist deep, not more than 4-5 inches. But because of the small scoop I was using took a little work to corner it. Ring was just my fourth target, after which I quit for the day.

Don't quit when you find a gold ticket. My best gold day was only my best because after I found the first gold, I found the next one 5 minutes later! Good things sometimes come in two...or three! Nice ringy dingy...waiting for my next piece of yellow to pop up.
