two wheat pennys in the yard one from 1944 and the other from 1949 and alot of old bottle caps!!
had lots of fun in the back yard
 
That's what it is all about...I used to deer hunt, but I think I had more fun just relaxing in the woods and watching nature than I had in bagging a big buck...
keep the joy in the hobby...

two wheat pennies in a old yard are my earliest finds also.
Perhaps we can both nail our first silver coin this weekend...at least that is my goal for today.
 
Thats funny, I actually got out the other day and found two pennies, and a whole lot of trash. I have to stick to surface hunting at the moment because the ground is frozen solid. HH
