Oldest coin to date

Found my oldest coin to date 1838 and my first LC. Found at a soccer field, I didn't know existed at the other end of a very large
sports field i have been hunting for 3 seasons.

It's not in the best of shape but I'm happy

Thanks for the replies. Can't wait to go back and find some more goodies. 3 seasons hunting this park
and have only found 1 silver dime. I thought i was digging a clad quarter, also found a 1917 wheatie.

Have not looked it up. I figured it's not worth much because of it's condition.
