Oldest coin this year

Scenario84

New member
Found my oldest coin so far this year, and surprisingly it was Canadien. In NY i find a ton of clad Canadien and some silvers from the 50s. But this was a shock. I was hunting a school yard that I found and knew was good when the first three targets I dug were MERCS. But this 1904 Canadian dime is the oldest I've found this year, and silver number 30 so far

Nice work!

WTG !

Great silver ! I love to find the old Canadian silver, although I don't find much. That's a surprise to me since Im only about 90 miles from the border.

Yeah! What rig are you running? 3 Mercs too! You are doing some nice work...
Mud

I'm quite a always from the border myself in central New York. Oddly this year it seems I'm finding as much Canadien as American. Mud, I'm using a Minelab Safari with stock coil.
