oldest coin so far

this is a mexican coin found in a park near the soccer fields. the park is not that old so i know it was a recent drop. i think the coin is brass but the gold tone had me going for a minute.

i found that coin a few months ago. i did look up the coin and it wasnt worth much but i was still suprised to see the date 1897.it still is a cool find to me.
