Hello all,

I decided to go back to my little playground and hunt some more. I thought I cleaned it out (one area) so worked on another area full of junk. Upon arrival a lady immediatly walks up, as I'm about ready to dig, and asks something relating to what I'm doing (in German you see. Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut  ) As luck would have it I dug a 1924 coin in front of her. She was shocked :surprised: . All I dig there is 1920 stuff so I was not so impressed (had it been silver I would have been). Even funnier she works at the building next door and ran there to give me a history pamphlet of the area, with some old pictures of the area I was hunting. What a great help!

Working in Mode 3, GB of 67 to 74, Fe3 at .03 and lower, Sensitivity at around 81 and discrimination at 25 to 40 I dug a total of six coins. My best yet there. I dug a 1908 coin next. I was stoked as it was a measured 9" deep and hit solid with sensitivity at 81 and ID'd around 75. It was my oldest coin to date with my T2. I dug an 1890 something with my Nauty before. I dug 4 other coins, two of which I couldn't make out the dates. Bad shape as you will see, have to work on cleaning them. The coins were only about 2 inches deep, at most, so I wasn't thinking they would be old. But upon cleaning them off (and a little bit of scraping) I could make out 1897 and 1875! My oldest yet. I knew I would get an 18 something in there.

I'm really getting to like the detector. I'm learning the sounds better. I can usually tell the trash as it hits wider but I dig allot of garbage. I can probably call about 60% coins if I didn't dig so much, at least at this location. I'm glad I dug a coin a bit deeper. It's clear I can hit 12" on something dime size with the power turned up. A couple of times the detector started to go crazy with sounds and I fixed it by restarting it. Not sure why it happened. Don't see any electrical interference. I notice it sometimes acts wierd in pinpoint and I have to reset the pinpoint as it won't shut off while the trigger is pulled. These problems are few and far between but worth mentioning. I think the feedback builds upon itself?

Well, my best hunt coin wise to date. Looking forward to the next.
