Older Home Gives Up Silver....But....

Hi, all:

Hunted an older home. today. Probably 75 to 100 years old near the downtown area of the small town I live in. Found a 1954D dime and a 1900 Barber quarter. The strange thins is, I found about thirty clad coins, but nothing older. No wheaties, or other older coins. The dime was mixed in with some trash, but my AT Gold was able to sniff it out. The quarter was five inches deep but rang in with a jumpy VDI of 80. Normally, an 80 shallow is junk. But I dig deeper signals that ring in at 80, and today it paid off. But with those two "iffy" signals being silver, there was nothing of note in an obvious old yard. Guessing it had been hunted many years ago and I was lucky enough to sniff out two pieces of silver. Love my AT Gold.

Thanks for lookin' and keep on diggin',
