Just contact Garrett and see if they would be able to service your detector then send it to them per their instructions. From what I have read on this and other forums their service dept is outstanding and will take care of any problems that you may have.

I sent my At3 detector (24 year old )back to Garrett, they re-calibrated the machine and put a new set of headphones on it. This machine works great 15 kHz on the old groundhog circuitry. It's super on coins. I use it as a back up for my At pro.
