Older coil question....

I have a 12" crossfire coil that is probably 8-10 years old. Will it still fit any of the newer Garrett's?

It will fit the Master Hunter CX. The rest take the Crossfire II.

I am true to my hobby and want to give this coil to someone that will use it. Yes, free...but I will not take the time to mail it or anything just pick it up. I honestly have a detector to go with it. I have a old Freedom 3 CDC that has the stock coil and the 12 " coil you can have. I took the detector out last weekend and it still works....can't believe I used that at one time. Dang the thing is noisy but it found coins! I would like to see someone use at least the coil or something as to throw it away, lord knows it is not worth much anyway. So if I can give something back to the hobby I love it would be great. No strings attached, I promise...just doing the noble thing. Private message me if you are in the area only.

Did you try running it on the classifieds. A lot of folks collect the old detectors.
