old xs setting question

Ok guys , I got my xs and do rather well with it , but i am wonderring what u guys use for setting that have been using it for years.. I went to the old mike moultry pages , read them , and use parts of other old posts I have read.. here's what I do.. I run the stock coin program.. changed the sensitivity to semi 28. I have run in manual 24 a few times but if out gets to chattery for me I go to semi auto..other than that I set it to deep , and turn the gain to eight.. am I missing anything .. I detect with the smartscreens .. and use tones for I'd.. the tones are very like the dfx , so that was easy to learn.. any other pointers I could be missing.. I've been using it about a year or two.. and did notice it does a lot better on depth with the sensitivity set higher than stock.. any other setting I should play with? Stock DD coil on it.. and I ussually don't wear headphones.. just hate sweaty ears...lol..but I seem to hear the deep one without them.

I have used and still have XS, my usual settings was Gain 9 or 10 sensitivity manual 18-27 depends from the site, respond Long and no discrimination in TTF, two tones ferrous. if you like Conductive sounds use less as possible discrimination. good luck and keep coil LOW or scratch with it ground.
