Went to an old area that I can drive right up to. And nobody
knows about it.

I have hunted this area several times using mostly a 5.75
 
[size=medium] I found tha patent on tha trunk lock.

Ah, the old "nobody knows about it but me" gambit.
We love to tell ourselves that, but never be too sure. I am not rocket scientist and always reckon that if I can figure it out - so can someone else.

At least it looks peaceful and relaxing - which is what detecting should be about. Keep after it while the brush is down and the air is cool.
Great research effort, I might add.
