Old Town

Dennis

New member
I been working the last couple days putting in a underground phone cable at one of the company sites. After sending a backhoe through
the brush I found the remains of an old town. A local from the area
said I cut right down what used to be main street. So far I have
identified the foundation of the church's front entrance and bell tower. Also the community center. I took some pics with my cell phone
for everyone at CMD. Sorry about the quality. I was told the old company store is still standing out there somewhere. Can't wait to find it. My detector was in my truck about 10 feet away from where I took the pics, decided to wait till Jeff sends me a sunray probe be-
fore I start swinging this site. I did eyeball a marble and a small bottle i'll post later.

you blow us away. What a find in itself! That should produce a lot of great finds and it is probably untouched by any other detectorists.

What a wonder side benefit of the job, eh, Dennis. Glad to hear from you. Keep in touch and let us know what finds you get there...am sure they will be very cool.

also good to see you! :)
