I purchased a fisher 1220-X in 1983 and paid for it 5X's over with what I found. I've been away from the activity for a long time and looking to get back into it. I have read each post on this forum, on every page and am leaning towards a C$. I am sure I will have plenty of questions, but after researching it for 6-weeks and wading through all the posts, I'm looking forward to getting the C$. Glad to have found the forum and i enjoy seeing all the pics.

Hi TEH,
I spent some time with different machines to figure out exactly what I wanted in high end machine, and I moved from a Tesoro Cortes to the CoinStrike.
Only have had it nearly two weeks now, and I haven't regretted my decision. It was everything and more than I expected.
Unfortuantly, I have yet to take it outside and have only got to fool around and air test in the house so far <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
I saw two for sale on the 'other' forum's classifieds if you are looking for a good used unit.

Thanks Mike, maybe you can help me with my other question. Does the C$ have a depth indicator? The manual doesn't touch on this. Just checking and thanks, I'll check out the classifieds.
Tim
