I'm pretty tired, but satisfyed! Today me and Luke visited our old stinky beach. At first things were great, but at noon, the wind caused so mutch waves, we decided to move somewhere else.
My first two signals were silver dimes, one after the other. Got many many religious medals, many pennies and other silver coins.
My new sifting island proved very efficient and usefull. especially when i was at the deepest point reacheable with wadders and i didn't wanted to stop to shake my scoop filled with clay and muck. I just dumped the load in the basket and moved around. after two or three signals, i looked what was inside. Great tool, i wont change a thing.
At noon we stopped for lunch. I was happy but was ready to face a day without gold. after lunch we tryed to detect a little more, but the waves were too stong. If it was pristine water i wouldn't mind, but that dark brownish water didn't felt confortable.
So we got back in the truck and drove away. On the same river, i knew an other beach more secluded on on the opposite side of the waves. That beach has seen mutch more detecting, but i felt something was still waiting for me...
After a while, got a silver ring than an other, then a gold plated ring. I was wonderring what was the right tone for gold as i was swinging the coil 6 inches away from the previous one where i got the plated ring. That low tone... can't miss it ! Yep my 4th gold ring of the season ! An old 10K signet ring ! Woopeee !
We detected up to 4 o clock and it was time to go... i'm real tired but very satisfyed witht eh finds ! Here they are :
