Old Silver Sabre 11 vs. Vaquero

well, i dusted off my silver sabre 2 that's about 20 yrs old. it runs like a champ and seems to do what it's supposed to do in my test garden (8" concentric)--with coins planted to about 7 inches. the all metal mode with threshold pings the targets while the descrimination mode i get a faint hit--sounds a little raspy on the deeper coins. i've been reading about the Vaquero and i wonder if this unit is able to "see" deeper than my older unit.

the Vaquero has more bells and whistles--is it worth the effort to consider this unit as a primary. i plan on hunting civil war relics and coins.

The old Silver Sabre II is a good machine,I own one and love it but your Vaquero will do much better.
