Nice finds & super nice video production. The camera takes beautiful clear video. What kind of camera are you using? Thanks for sharing - Jim

Thanks guys for all the kind comments that's what keeps me doing the vids , it's a lot more work and it really slows me down, but if you guy like them I will keep doing them till it's snows. Very soon.

Anyway the camera is an kodak play sport, waterproof, shockproof , 1080p hd camera, I do you a small tripod too for the dig parts of the videos. Also I use iMovie on a Mac for the production.

Hi Mike,

Wow, I think you just helped me make a decision on a video camera. I have been looking at some similiar units from different companies but the superior clarity on this one has me sold. Yes, a movie says more then a thousand words. It takes me on the journey and I am there digging with you. It also motivates me to get out there and get hunting to possibly find some goodies myself. Thanks again for the video and information. - Jim

L4D....does the camera have a tripod socket? Did some surfing to find out for myself, w-no luck. I know it has IS but how do you attach it to a tripod? Thanks-CC

Yes it has the tri pod socket. I was also looking at the Gopro hd hero camera. It's a bit more money but it looks awesome , waterproof case, much better than my Kodak , plus I feel kinda iffy about taking the Kodak underwater, the doors pop open pretty easy and that would toast it for sure.

Plus how the Kodak records upright , it gets really tall on the tripod and tips over easy. Kind of top heavy.

Jim and cc good luck and HH!

Thank you for the info Mike. Much appreciated.

Thanks Mike for the info on the Gopro! The video it takes is stunning! It might just be worth it to wait (save up some extra $$) and get that unit. - Jim

I've got a Cibola that I bought for my kids, never got used and is currently listed on craigslist. After watching your videos I may just have to hang on to it!DBULL

That's an indreible machine once you learn it, but the best part is you don't have to learn , just turn it on set up right at iron and dig most good sounding signals.

Dbull thanks for the kind words.
