Got this today--I've heard good things about the board (Sov X2 R1.1), phones and Seasearch coil. I've also gotten great results with this board using a WOT in all-metal--great audio--tells you a lot about the target before you even go to disc. Also very deep, like 20" plus on a silver dime in packed sand. This one is like new--gotta love those guys who buy a detector and never touch it! Kind of like a time capsule.

That is something i would never pass up it puts the newer junk to shame nice find  Jim

Id say you are in the loop for finding machines we rarely see let along get out hands on. I know a couple of guys that swear by that coil. One even said he thought it was crazy out of tune he was getting so much depth. He wished he could tune his Xcal coil 2 to what ever that one was. Wonder what it would get here on the Gulf in Fl? Good find Clive.

It looked okay in the pictures but I wasn't expecting it to be near pristine. The end cap (top phones end) had a layer of brown dust on it from where it had been stood in a garage somewhere. Second one I've seen on e-ba lately.

WTG, Clive!! They are my FAVORITE EXCALS', and I have (2) of them!! One works, and one doesn,t!! I'm trying to get it fixed!! Not that YOU don't already know this, but make sure you have SOMEONE
V-E-R-Y COMPETENT or unless YOU can do it yourself, THOROUGHLY CHECKOUT the INTEGRITY of the O-RINGS and SEALS around the SWITCHES before you SUBMERGE IT!! BEST of LUCK,
