Old school yard - High density trash

The old school house has been dozed into a pile, the farming implements have spread the nails, iron scrap in all sizes and shapes. However this school dated to the early 1900's, so a hunting we go.
Running the E-Trac with stock coil in Relic, 2 tone ferrous, sensitivity on Auto, deep on , and fast on. The field had been planted so I would walk down a row sideways checking the row next to me. What a mess of junk. My friend found a loaded 7mm mag rifle shell, I got lucky and got 1 good hit, About 3 inches down a 1905 Barber dime, very badly worn. Always makes me wonder about who lost the coin. Want to go back some day with a smaller coil and try again. I coin in an hour, was it worth it you bet, great day to be out and with a friend to boot.

I'm hunting in the exact same conditions you are. Old farmsteads and schools that have been bulldozed. The iron is so thick every swing and I mean EVERY swing has multiple iron hits. I run goesforevers' settings for ttf. It is the only way I can eek out anything. It does work as I have one site I have hit with every detector I have owned and found little. Went there one time so far since I got the etrac and scored an 1897 indian and 1922 wheatie. I would try this setup or at least run with deep off in your current settings. Just my $.02.
