OLD SCHOOL SILVER, MARBLES, BUTTON, AND MORE

Charlie and I hunted this morning at an old school long gone but not forgotten. Dug a 1917 Merc, a button, a ring, and a organ reed. Charlie dug a clay marble, A nice 1906 IH. Later we hit a sidewalk around town and he dug a couple of neat tokens pictured. No name looks just like a real coin on one side and no cash value on the other.
Thanks for looking

What is the purpose of the item that looks like a coin, but has "no cash value" please? Is this anything to do with the current financial crisis? My first question is a genuine enquiry please.

These are slightly bigger than a quarter and use in many different vending machine. I had a Japanese slot machine and they used these and bought a extra 300 of them for around $30 that were brand new. Some use them in places like Chucky for the arcade games and hear some are used in some Laundromats or where any vending machines are used and set to accept them as they are just slightly bigger than a quarter while if you used quarters they will fall out in the coin return.
