Old School in the Texas Hill Country...............

Kelley (Texas)

New member
I took this picture this past Saturday at Sisterdale, Texas. This old schoolhouse was built in 1893 from native limestone. I saw a picture of this old school with a metal roof, and wonder when they converted it to a shingled roof. I tried to get permission to cross the fence to take a better picture, but was denied access so I had to take the picture with the tree blocking the view. It is presently being used as a private museum, closed to the public.

Picture taken with my Sony A300 DSLR with a Minolta 35-105mm lens, F8, 1/320, ISO 100, Manual Mode. Kelley (Texas) :)
