Old Red Works Fine

:inlove: I got a Red Baron on EBay a while back and just got around to testing it. Guess what, it read a penny I had planted a few years ago at 8 inches in the all metal mode. Then with reverse discrimination (TR) at about foil it showed it as a good target. I then air tested it on my 1/4 wide gold wedding band in all metal and it read it at 10 inches. I have always had a soft spot for some of these old detectors and this is one of them. I have had 3 well thought of newer detectors that would not read that penny. Bill

I have always loved the Red Baron series! My favorite detector of all time is the Bounty Hunter Big Bud. I don't go hunting without one! Newer is not always better!
