Old Park yields .925 Silver Ring with Blue Stone

Continuing to pound my old park and found this .925 Silver Ring with a pretty stone with a bluish cast. Any ideas on what kind of stone it is? Opposite the .925, NF is stamped in it. Any ideas what this indicates?
Thanks
Chuck

The stone looks purplish. If it is, its an amethyst.

I agree with Phil - looks like an amethyst. If it was blue it could be a topaz.Nice ring Chuck!
