Old log home

Got permission to detect an old log cabin yesterday. Went there today and found the enclosed items. A 1944P Nickel, 5 wheat pennies (oldest 1919), a junior sheriff badge, an 18" spoon, a hatchet head, a pin with a W or M, a copper or brass lace thingy. Don't know what the 2 large brass rings or the square thing are. Any help appreciated. HH

Looks like it might be a great place to mow &/or do some cache/post bank hunting...out towards the well/outhouse/garden/barn/big tree...anything that wouldn't burn if the house did. Check under the back doorsill too. This extra investigation has only paid off once for me, but could this be your time?

My assumption is it's a long way to a bank!

Just my $.02 worth.

underneath the clapboard siding is on old log house. would love to get under the floors but was told not to damage the house. In the kitchen is an old wood cookstove($$$$$$$$$$). We are going to mow the yard and do some more searching. Thanks for the ideas.
