Old large Goldak tube type metal detector

rogersrr

New member
Hello all
I am new to this forum. I was hoping someone out there might be able to help me get some info on a old tube type Goldak detector. There is not a model number anywhere I can find. In the box with it is a old 45 volt battery and leads in the case that attach to it so I assume that battery goes to it. There is also a slot in the case that looks like it might take 3 c cell batteries. The detector itself stands about 6 feet tall. Has anyone out there ever seen one of these where I might get some guidance and info. I also wonder about how old it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Richard

1950's vintage, basic transmit-receive design. Sometimes the model info is inside the control box.
