old item

I found this today detecting. It is 2in long and very sharp at the tip. I do not think it is a tinkler, looks like copper. Any ideas please and how old it might be. Thanks

Great find. The point is in great shape too. Called a socketed point. Wisconsin has a lot of Old Copper culture artifacts, b'gosh. :)

I found a tip to a lightning rod that was shaped similar but it was several inches longer and was made from rolled copper with a seam down one side. This piece looks alot older and probably not machined or from rolled metal.
This pic has one kinda like yours...
