even if it nulls, if the center of the coil gets over a good target it will give you a high tone. in those types of places you have to overlap your swings at least by half

my go-to TTF pattern (I'm a coinshooter) is a modified "trashy park" pattern with the bottom half opened up (and some other slight variations) and that works for me in most public type situations? If I still get lots of nulling then I may use the Minelab relic screen or an open quickmask. Like mentioned above....slow down, overlap and the et will sometimes let those high tones come thru during a null......

That is why you set it to trash HIGH and ground DIFFICULT it's to let the good targets ring through nulling. The null is the blacked out areas you have on your screen. You could change some of your discrimination pattern by opening it up more on the screen and get less nulling but more trash targets will come through.

Not sure what coil your using, but a 8x6 or a 5" will really help get between some of the iron. But there are places no matter the size of the coil there is still null.

I use ttf, open screen, deep off, fast on, trash high, ground difficult, threshold barely audible... That's what I use for iron infested ground

Read the first sticky post in this sub forum by Goes4ever. Notice where it says use open screen. That is so You don't get nulling.
