Old house with a loaded yard!

After work last nite, Jim and I went looking for some oldies, we spotted an old house with a long front yard and big backyard with several outbuildings, looked perfect so we stopped, knocked and got permission

here are some pics from the property, rarely do I take pictures of where I hunt but this backyard just looked so scenic and historic looking, I had to share these pictures, in the one you can see Jim in action....lol

Now for the goodies....lol I say the yard was loaded because it is rare for a yard to give up this many indians, normally 1-2 or maybe 3 indians, but I dug 5 of them and Jim got 2, so it was a 7 indian yard, also got a 1920 merc, an old lighter, a crotal bell, soap token, smashed thimble, several wheats, and of course some clad....but majority of the finds were shallow, like 5" or less. Makes me wonder if someone detected here before and skipped these signals because they ASSUMED it was shallow clad? Who knows? The soap token and lighter were showing 2" deep on the etrac, and registered as a penny, so I am sure someone walked right over them dismissing them as clad. It was a good yard and we had a lot of fun. Hope you like the pics!
