Old house sites today

Fought the ticks to get to a couple house sites before deer season starts in 2 weeks. Pretty slim pickings. I did manage 2 flat buttons. A one piece with a London backmark with 3 stars/asterisks above it and a 2 piece with no backmark. I think the London backmark is an early one. Hopefully I can track down the exact backmark, as I don't have a firm date on the house it came from. There is a family cemetery about 100 yards away, but it only has one dated stone and that is 1888. There are 10+ stone marked graves.

I love detecting old house sites.Kinda takes you back in time.
Congrats on the finds.

Didn't think to post this yesterday. The numbers were 12-33 and 12-37. Anyone would have dug these signals.

Thanks to a tip on here, I tried smooth tones in a 2 tone ferrous setup and only dug 1 nail. A big improvement. It really did reduce the nail hits to short spits of high tone, versus the sustained tone for the other signals.
